
About Silas Nyagala
Silas Nyagala is a Tanzanian lawyer. He is a Senior Advisor to the Foundation for Community-Driven Development and works on learning initiatives and operations in East Africa. Silas has worked on many projects related to human rights, land, environment, migration, health, citizenship, corruption, democracy, governance, and media. Silas has experience in researching, forming partnerships, and supporting global engagement with rural organisations for SDGs. Silas seeks resources and partnerships for the benefit of the PWDs, minority, and poor communities by helping them to achieve their highest potential through training, research, humanitarian advocacy and mobilisation, legal empowerment, and transformation.
He worked with many organizations such as Access to Justice, Women’s Thrive Alliance, Grassroots Justice Network, Columbia Center on Sustainable Investment (CCSI), the International Institute for Environment and Development, the European Union, Konrad Adenauer Stiftung, and International Peace Information Service (IPS).
